Fair Use Policy

Ensuring that Servelink Space only keeps alive projects that are actually being used.

1Context & Problem

The Technical Challenge (Zero Trust)

Servelink Space operates on a "Zero Trust" security model: we never ask for administration keys. Therefore, we do not have access to internal project logs. We cannot technically know if a project is receiving real traffic or not.

The Ethical Challenge

Our mission is to help developers manage their active prototypes, not to "spam" Supabase's infrastructure with projects abandoned for months. It is crucial to differentiate a "dormant" project (useful) from a "dead" project (useless).

2The Solution: "Proof of Activity"

Since we cannot measure technical activity (traffic), we measure human interest. We are implementing a mandatory monthly validation mechanism.

The Concept: Dead Man's Switch

If the user does not periodically confirm that they still need the project, monitoring stops automatically.

Your Projects' Lifecycle

🟢 Phase 1: Active Monitoring

Days 0 to 30. Monitoring works normally. Everything is transparent for you.

🟠 Phase 2: Verification

Day 30. Check-up email sent: "Do you still need this project?".

🔴 Phase 3: Grace Period

Days 30 to 44. You have 14 days to confirm. Final reminder at Day 40.

⚫ Phase 4: Service Termination

Day 44. Monitoring stops if no response. Reactivation possible via the dashboard at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to confirm?

Because Servelink Space has no access to your traffic data. This is the only way for us to ensure we don't keep "zombie" projects alive unnecessarily.

What if I forget to click?

Don't panic. You will receive 2 emails before termination. And even if the service stops, a simple click on your dashboard reactivates it immediately.
